Excursion to Nova

At the end of Term Two, our Year 7 EAL students attended an excursion to watch the film Inside out 2 at Cinema Nova then having lunch at Lincoln Square Playground together afterwards. The excursion provided students from three classes with a great opportunity to get to know each other and spend some time together. Here are two comments from our lovely Year 7 students:

“Inside Out 2 is a very fun and interesting movie of Riley's improved and matured emotion as Riley turns into a teenager. We watched how anxiety removed joy, disgust, sadness, anger and fear out of HQ. Anxiety changed Riley as she left  her friends behind and joined the fire hawks, Because they think about what's going to happen in the future they just let Riley be. Because Riley’s friends are going to another school and she will be by herself. After that, Joy and Anxiety became friends.” 

“I think the movie was pretty fun and it helps me a lot in English. I learnt new words from the movie and also new camera angles and camera movements.”
