Start of Year 7 Swimming Lessons
On Monday August 12th, Year 7 swimming lessons began. This was just the first day, and we’re hopeful that the students will continue to improve as each lesson goes by.
The day began with an initial assessment, where groups of students were evaluated and then split up according to their swimming level and skill. This approach ensures that each student receives proper guidance and can develop their skills at a comfortable pace. Students also have the opportunity to move up levels as they progress.
The swimming instructors were meticulous in their efforts and did their best to help students advance in their swimming abilities. From Freestyle to Breaststroke, the instructors covered various swimming and breathing techniques, as well as how to maintain the correct form.
To aid in the learning process, a variety of swimming equipment was used, helping students improve their strokes and build confidence in the water. Whether it was a kickboard or a pull buoy, every tool contributed to enhancing each student's abilities.
Overall, the first session was a great start, and we can’t wait to see how our students progress in the coming weeks.
