Science Fair

The Kinross Wolaroi School Science Fair returns this year, offering an engaging exploration of scientific discovery for students and the wider community. Taking place on Thursday 8 August from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, the fair promises an interesting evening for all inquisitive minds.

This year's showcase features a display of individually crafted models by our Year 9 students. The theme is “Endangered Species”, and Year 9 has been tasked with playing the role of a wildlife engineer. These models will address ways to protect the world’s vulnerable species from extinction.

Additionally, the fair will delve into the exciting realm of STEM gaming, where interactive projects will demonstrate the intersection of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in a captivating format. To further ignite curiosity and encourage hands-on exploration, there will be a series of captivating mini-experiments, designed to engage visitors of all ages.

Don't miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the wonders of science and celebrate the innovative spirit of our Kinross Wolaroi School Science Community!
