Clive Marriott
Middle Years French Teacher
We are thrilled to welcome Mr Clive Marriott as our new Middle Years French teacher. Clive recently graduated with a Masters in Teaching and holds an undergraduate BA Hons in French & Management Studies as well as a Masters MSc in Corporate Environmental Management. Fluent in French, Clive worked with us last year as a Year 12 language assistant, where he made a significant impact by effectively supporting students in enhancing their language skills.
Clive brings a wealth of experience from a distinguished 30-year career in various roles, primarily in international trade with a focus on social justice and sustainability. He has lived and worked in Francophone countries and other parts of the world and is eager to bring his intercultural experience to help students develop a profound understanding of and engagement with the world around them through the lens of language and culture.
Jillian Ferguson
Head of Visual Arts
We are delighted to welcome Jillian Ferguson as the new Head of Visual Arts. Jillian will be teaching Visual Communication & Design Unit 3/4, Art Making and Exhibiting Unit 1/2 and Art for Years 7-10.
Jillian joins us from Haileybury, where she has excelled over the past four years. She specialises in VCE Visual Communication & Design and holds a Masters in Communication Design, a Bachelor of Education and is currently studying for a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Science. With over 10 years of teaching experience and a background in graphic design, Jillian is also an accomplished netball coach.
An outstanding teacher of Visual Arts, Jillian has taught in both state and independent schools. She is highly committed to her colleagues and students, working collaboratively to support student learning both inside and outside the classroom. Jillian is enthusiastic about fostering creativity and critical thinking in her students, encouraging them to explore and express their artistic talents.
Jillian’s passion for art and dedication to student development make her a valuable addition to our team.
Johnny Le
Middle Years Physical Education & Health Teacher
We are excited to welcome Mr Johnny Le as our new Middle Years Physical Education & Health Teacher. With extensive experience at St. Michael’s Grammar School, Caulfield Grammar School and Haileybury College, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.
Holding a Master of Teaching (Secondary) from The University of Melbourne and currently pursuing a Master of Art (Literary and Cultural Studies) at Monash University, he has over a decade of experience working with students across various year levels, including VCE and International Baccalaureate. His roles have allowed him to develop effective numeracy and literacy strategies to support academic growth.
Beyond his teaching experience, he has held pastoral roles, being a key figure in students’ wellbeing and serving as the first point of contact for students and their families. His ability to develop strong teacher-student relationships and understand his students is his greatest strength in the classroom. He focuses on creating engaging and supportive learning environments and emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving and reasoning skills.
Outside the classroom, he has been the Touch Football 1st Coach and AFL Coordinator at Caulfield Grammar, where he successfully developed and managed sports programs. This included planning training sessions, organising matches and providing support and guidance to players and coaches, resulting in highly successful sporting programs.
His dedication to nurturing young minds and fostering holistic development makes him a valuable addition to our school community. We look forward to the positive impact he will undoubtedly make on our students’ academic and personal growth.

We are delighted to share the wonderful news that Bobson Mansary, our Head Coach at HSAC has officially became an Australian citizen on 29 July 2024. This milestone marks an exciting chapter in Bobson's journey and we couldn't be more proud of his achievement.
Bobson's commitment to our community and his contributions have been truly remarkable. As he embraces his new citizenship, we look forward to celebrating his continued success and dedication. Please join us in congratulating Bobson on this significant accomplishment! Welcome to the land of Vegemite, barbies, sunny skies and the occasional encounter with a kangaroo.
