NSW All Schools Golf

Congratulations to School Captain Tom Aitken, who recently competed at the NSW All Schools Golf Tournament. Representing NSWCIS, he played in Sydney across Moore Park and The Coast Golf Club, shooting 74, 79, and 70 to finish 33rd out of 70 players. This is a fantastic result in a highly competitive tournament. Tom was pleased with his performance, given his focus has mostly been directed towards his studies in Year 12. We’re thrilled for him to have achieved such a great result.

AICES Rugby

Congratulations to Hayden Evans, who was part of the AICES 16s Boys Rugby team that competed at the NSW Schools Championship. Hayden and his team defeated the Combined Catholic Colleges (CCC) 18-5 to win the Cup Final. 

NSW All Schools Hockey

Congratulations to Ella Tanna and Mr. Ian Scott for their achievements at the NSW All Schools Tri Series in Newcastle during the school holidays. Ella’s CIS team came second, with each game being close. The 19's girls went down 3-2 to CHS but defeated CCC 4-2, with Ella managing to score a goal in the game against CCC. We are proud of our students' representation at such a high level and thank Mr. Scott for his ongoing commitment to representative opportunities for hockey players. Well done!

NSW All Schools Cross Country

Olivia Coombes recently raced at the NSW All Schools Cross Country, which took place at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre. The competition saw 90 of the best country runners in the state, and Olivia managed an exceptional 14th place! Congratulations to Olivia on a great result during your HSC year!
