Wales Street will be holding an incursion to celebrate the upcoming Glasgow Commonwealth Games!! The event will be held at school, for all students in Foundation to Grade 3.

Monday 27th July at school, all students and staff from Foundation to Grade 3  will participate in a tabloid sports day, with students rotating through a series of fun activities and competitions.

Each student has been allocated a country to represent and will participate in a multi-age team for the day.

Students have been told which country they are representing and we encourage them to wear their country’s colours.

The day will start with an introduction, before students move into the activities.

Events will conclude just before lunchtime, allowing students to spend time after lunch reflecting on their experiences throughout the day.

Unfortunately due to high student numbers (22 groups total) and safety issues created by lack of space we are asking parents/family members to please not attend this incursion. Please note the cost of this day will be covered by the school.

Kind regards
