Whole School Dance Focus in PE

In Physical Education, the whole school has been buzzing with energy and creativity as students participated in our exciting Dance Focus. Each grade level worked hard to develop their own dance routines in time with a chosen piece of music. Jennifer is incredibly proud of everyone's final performances - it was clear how much effort, teamwork, and imagination went into every routine.

Each group was given a song to dance to, focusing on finding the beat, coordinating their movements, and working together to create a true masterpiece.

• Preps had a fantastic time dancing to "I Like to Move It", engaging in fun, follow-the-leader style activities that helped them build confidence and rhythm.
• Grades 1-2 took on "Men in Black", bringing their own creative flair to the performance. Each group added a unique twist, showcasing their individuality while still moving in unison.
• Grades 3-4 brought high energy and enthusiasm as they danced to Avicii’s "Wake Me Up". Their routine was upbeat, dynamic, and full of personality.
• Grades 5-6 impressed with their sharp, robotic dance to Daft Punk’s "Around the World", demonstrating excellent timing and coordination.

The entire school should be proud of the amazing effort and creativity shown throughout this dance unit. Well done to everyone for your enthusiasm and commitment - what a wonderful celebration of movement, music, and teamwork!
