Grade 1 & 2 Learning-English & French 

Students in grades 1 & 2 have started a new genre of writing - instruction writing. This week we built catapults and wrote step by step instructions on how to make them. The classes loved doing this and are keen to continue making things during this topic. 

Abdullahi, 12D “We used team work to build them. It was very fun because the ball went super high" and Ridwan in 12B said " I enjoyed building something out of wood". Hemi from 12A said “ I enjoyed figuring out how to launch it very far.” Sophie from 12C said “ I really liked it because it was crafty.”

French-Maths

In maths, students in grade 1 & 2 have been learning key words to describe capacity in French. They completed an activity `On fait le tri' ( 'We are sorting') using the words 'plein', 'moitie-plein' and 'vide.
