Welcome Back: Term 3

Dear Prep Families, 

Welcome back to Term 3!

The student have come back to school excited, refreshed and full of wonderful stories about their adventures, activities and time spent with their families over the holidays.

We can't believe it's Term 4 already and the Preps are approaching the end of the first year of school! 

Term 4 for Prep is an exciting time of year. We have a few excursions planned, some wonderful learning experiences, our end of year Art Show and performance. It's also coming up to the time of year where students will be given opportunities to demonstrate their growth and development so that teachers can write their end of year reports.

A quick reminder as well, as it is Term 4 and the weather is warming up, to ensure students are SunSmart it is compulsory for students to wear a wide brimmed hat during outside activities. Please make sure your child has a hat at school so that they can fully enjoy and participate in outside play. There are coloured bucket hats for purchase at the front office if you need! 

Beginning in November, the Prep teachers will be hosting transition mornings for next years Preps on Wednesday mornings. During these sessions, our current Preps will be doing some group activities with the Specialists teachers or other classroom teachers. 

We will be having a couple of excursions this term. Information, attendance consent and payment details will be sent out via Compass soon!
