Term 4 - Week 1

Welcome back from your two week break.

Monday morning we explored the power of a genuine apology by reading a story about saying sorry. We practised strategies to make our apologies meaningful, wrote letters of apology, and shared examples of moments at home when saying sorry really matters.

We’ve jumped back into learning with enthusiasm! We’ve been exploring the topic of Australia and will be writing poetry, while also learning new words with the prefix out–. Some of us have joined new maths groups and shared exciting retells of our holidays. We’re also practising how to work well with others again, showing good sportsmanship in PE, and remembering what it means to be a great teammate!

We’re looking forward to our upcoming Mission Day (Week 3), where students will take part in team-based activities that focus on collaboration, generosity, and thinking of others. It’s a special day to raise funds for those in need while learning about kindness, teamwork, and gratitude.
