Assistant Principal's Report

Prepared for Learning

As we settle into Term 4, it’s important that students arrive to class fully prepared with all necessary materials. This includes their books, pencil case, subject-specific equipment, and a fully charged laptop. Students are reminded to check what is required for each class to ensure they are ready to engage and succeed in their learning.

It’s also a timely reminder that students should arrive to class on time. We appreciate the support of parents and guardians in reinforcing this expectation at home.

School Values

We promote positive behaviours through our school values system. Students are acknowledged for demonstrating these values, which are recorded on Compass as Positive Chronicle entries. We are proud of the way our students interact in class and in the yard.

Here are some examples of how students demonstrate our values:

  • Respect – In the classroom: Being ready to learn by bringing the required equipment and starting tasks as per the lesson plan.
  • Kindness – In the Café: Offering help when it’s busy. Support from students helps keep the line moving efficiently so everyone can access their items.
  • Confidence – Outside: Including others in games or conversations. A simple act of inclusion can make a big difference to someone’s day.

Well Wishes

Students undertaking a Unit 3/4 subject are nearing the end of their courses and preparing for exams. Congratulations to those who have already achieved satisfactory outcomes. For those still completing work, keep working hard and don’t hesitate to reach out for support.

We encourage all students to continue upholding our school values of Respect | Kindness | Confidence right through to their final day at MBSC.

Best of luck, we know you’ll give it your best effort!
