2026 Prep Transition

We are excited to welcome our new Prep students as they begin their transition to school.

Over the next three Tuesdays, kindergarten children will visit a Prep classroom to meet new faces, explore their learning space, and enjoy a fun activity. Children are welcome to wear their usual kinder clothes, or they may like to try on their new school uniform if it’s ready.

Transition Session Dates and Times

Tuesday 28th October

• Session 1: 10:00 – 10:45 (Golden Square Kinder & all Shine Bright kinders)
• Session 2: 11:45 – 12:30 (all other kinders)

Tuesday 4th November

• Session 1: 10:00 – 10:45 (Golden Square Kinder & all Shine Bright kinders)
• Session 2: 11:45 – 12:30 (all other kinders)

Tuesday 11th November

• Session 1: 10:00 – 10:45 (Golden Square Kinder & all Shine Bright kinders)

• Session 2: 11:45 – 12:30 (all other kinders)

   

Transition visits are an important part of helping children feel confident and comfortable as they begin their school journey. These sessions give children the opportunity to become familiar with their classroom environment, meet their teachers, and gently ease into school routines.

By experiencing school ahead of time, children are better prepared, reducing nerves and building excitement for the year ahead.
