Prep/One Classroom Takeover!

As a special reward for reaching another 400 SWPBS stickers, students in Prep/One O’Grady had the exciting opportunity to “take over” a Grade 5/6 classroom for the day!

The students began their morning in their usual room for phonics groups before heading upstairs to experience what it’s like to learn in the senior area. They completed their reading, writing, maths and integrated studies lessons in the Grade 5/6 space and even enjoyed their morning tea and lunch there.

The students loved exploring a different learning environment and seeing the work the senior students had on display. They couldn’t believe that they were learning about nouns, verbs and adjectives just like their big buddies! 

It was a fun and memorable day that celebrated their positive behaviour and teamwork.
