Year 1 – Exploring Procedures
This term in Year 1, we are learning all about procedures—the steps we follow to do something. To make this learning fun and hands-on, we’ve been exploring recipes and creating some delicious treats in class!
We kicked things off by making our very own yoghurt parfaits. Each student had the opportunity to follow the steps and create their own parfait using layers of yoghurt, frozen blueberries, and honey. It was a wonderful way to practise sequencing, following instructions, and of course, enjoy a tasty reward at the end!
The students are thoroughly enjoying these activities, and we’re looking forward to making more fun and yummy recipes together while learning about how procedures help us in everyday life.

☀️ No Hat, No Play
We are noticing an increasing number of students arriving at PE lessons without a hat. Our spare hat supply is very limited.
Please ensure your child brings their own clearly named hat to school every day. Hats are an important part of our SunSmart policy and are required for outdoor activities, including PE.
Thank you for helping us keep our students safe in the sun.
