Good Luck Division Swimmers:
Wishing Milla, Mac, Sam, Will, Poppy, Jackson, Sylive, Luka and Carter all the very best this Friday as they take part in the Division Swimming event. For some of these students, this is their first competitive swim meet and we hope they thoroughly love it.
Thank you to Shona and Debbie for officially coming along to support our students on the day.
Interhouse Athletics:
We are getting excited as we prepare for our Interhouse Athletics on 5 March, 2025.
Please click here for more information on the event.
Thank you to the adults who have put up their hand to help us out on the day. We are still have a few spaces needing filling so If you are able to help for all or part of the day (9.00am - 2.30pm) can you please contact Claire Morris (claire.morris@education.vic.gov.au). No experience necessary but if you do have some knowledge around specific events, please let me know in your email. All helpers will need to submit a copy of their Working With Children Check (quickly and easily obtained online for free) and completed Code of Conduct form to the front office prior to the day. The office staff and I are more than happy to assist you with these if needed.
If you can please ensure your child knows what group they will be in on the day, that would be very helpful (e.g. if they turn 10 on their 2025 birthday, they will be in the 10YO group). Dressing up in house colours is encouraged for those wishing to but please remember to wear their school hat, bring a healthy lunch/snack and water bottle.
Please contact your child’s class teacher if you have any questions about the day.
Athletics Day recording:
Over the next 6 weeks, Grade 3-6 students will be participating in athletics activities where we will be recording results (for either heats or as their final result) for our Athletics Day. If your child misses a P.E. session, please touch base with me if they wish to complete this event for results prior to Athletics Day. We will not be taking any results after the 7 March, 2025. Please let Claire Morris know if you have any questions.
Hockey Victoria Roadshow:
On Monday, some of our lucky junior classes enjoyed a session with Hockey Victoria to try out the sport and have some fun. We appreciate the time that Hockey Victoria gives us each year to provide our students with these opportunities. For those students interested in doing some hockey outside of school, please check out the Hook-Into-Hockey flyer in the community section of our newsletter.

What to bring to P.E.:
Just a reminder for all students to bring with them their P.E. shoes, drink bottles and hats to their P.E. classes. This allows us to make the most of our lessons together. Thanks to everyone who continues to remember these.
