Excursion - Them in STEM

On Tuesday 18th February, 18 students from across the College ventured to Yarra Ranges Tech School to participate in an all-inclusive LGBTQIA+ STEM event. The students heard from Lisa Maro, an electrical engineer working with ICN Victoria in renewable energy projects and Manabu Iguchi, an artist and graphic designer. The students then got their hands dirty and used A.I. to design and print their own stickers, designed and printed 3D name tags and used Unreal Engine to learn about game design. Overall the students had a blast exploring their interest in STEM and Art and seeing how it could guide their future learning.
