PE & Sport Update

PE Update

PE lessons are now well underway.

Last week, the Foundation students had their first taste of PE and boy did those fans come in handy during those 37 degree days. We hopped, skipped, ran, marched, jumped and duck duck goosed our way through the week but a bit of ‘Dead Ants’ under the fans was a great relief and the parachute has been a big hit with level 1 & 2 students.

Sports borrowing

Our new sports borrowing system has been a big hit. It’s great to see the equipment being used and even more great to see it being returned responsibly to our House Captains and Level 6 friends who are manning the borrowing desk. Students can borrow equipment at recess or half of Lunch time but are required to return it by the end of lunch.

Running Club

Running club kicked off this week on Wednesday morning with 82 students from Level 2- 6. Students can attend for a range of running activities which may be of particular interest to some students as we head towards our Cross Country events. Students should be dropped off at the registration desk in the parklands. We will all make our way into school together at the completion of Running Club.

Running club runs every Wednesday starting at 8:30am sharp.
