NAPLAN

In week 7 our students in grade 5 will be undertaking NAPLAN. The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) is an annual national assessment for all students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9, and is the only nationwide assessment that all Australian children undertake.

NAPLAN tests are one aspect of each school’s assessment and reporting process, and do not replace the extensive, ongoing assessments made by teachers about each student’s performance.

Leading up to this period we support our students and remind them that this is an opportunity to show what they know. All we ask is that students do their very best.
