Student Achievements
Jack Wilton
Jack was selected to represent South Australia at the Under 16 Australian Youth Championships for baseball, which were held in Blacktown, New South Wales from
Jan 7 - Jan 13.
In a tournament full of nail-biting moments and a record number of walk-off wins, the team from South Australia surprised everyone by going 9-0, undefeated for the entire tournament.
A team full of hard working, driven boys, wanting to make themselves and their State proud, they led with their heads and played with their hearts, and it absolutely paid off. As a result of their tournament win, South Australia were crowned the U16 National Champions for the first time since 2016. Bringing the trophy home is something Jack is incredibly proud to have been a part of and will treasure the memories and the friendships he made along the way.
Congratulations Jack!
What true sportsmanship.
Illuminate Entrepreneurial Challenge
As winners of the 2024 Illuminate Entrepreneurial Challenge last year, Endeavour was invited to participate in a one day National Final online, on Wednesday.
Under an overarching theme of Inclusivity, students were required to find a business solution and develop a business plan, budget and marketing strategy.
They had only 3 hours to prepare the materials and then pitch live to the head of the NDIS and other Entrepreneurs. Our team worked at an impressive rate, and showed great initiative, creativity, and maturity to develop and deliver their business idea, on an App for skilled migrants that facilitated and provided VR/AR online work experiences of Australian businesses and organisations.
The team competed against 17 other schools across the country and represented South Australia admirably.
Although they didn’t win the final, we are extremely proud of their efforts.
The team consisted of:
Samarth Ranganathapura Kiran (Year 10)
Simran Ubhi (Year 10)
Cobey Davis (Year 11)
Jennifer Thomas (Year 10)
