SAKG- Year 2/3's

In the kitchen, we've been focussing on essential skills in food preparation, hygiene, cleaning, folding laundry, and safety. Our knife skills are improving as we practice techniques like the Bear Claw, Rock N Chop, and Bridge.  So far, we’ve prepared and cooked a variety of dishes, including guacamole, leafy salad, warrigal greens damper, Indian flatbread, basic pasta, Greek salad, zucchini bread muffins, warrigal greens pesto, peach crumble, Mexican green rice, nicoise salad, and okonomiyaki (Japanese pancakes). From our garden, we’ve used peaches from our incredible tree, as well as parsley, tomatoes, spring onions, silverbeet, purple beans, warrigal greens, radish, rocket, and rosemary.
