STEM

The past few weeks in STEM have been so much fun discovering and learning new things! The juniors have had fun testing whether objects sink or float and recording their findings. They have also been learning about air, conducting a mind-blowing experiment using balloons, tables and students! This week we discovered two very grown-up words ‘transparent’ and ‘opaque’ and they loved testing different materials using torches. 

The seniors have been learning about the same concepts in a slightly different way, making Archimedes Cans to find out about volume through water displacement and measuring their findings using both formal and non-formal units.
