Year 12 2025
Our Class of 2025 has hit the ground running on their final year of school! We wish the students all the best for the year ahead. Remember, your friends, family, teachers, and the St Brigid’s College community are here to support you every step of the way.
Year 7 Welcome Evening
Last week, our Year 7 students and their families came together to share a meal and celebrate their new beginnings at St Brigid's College, joined by our Teacher Advisors, teachers, support staff, and Year 12 student leaders. Students and families were able to chat in a relaxed environment and get to know one another. It was a lovely way to kick start a life long connection with St Brigid's!
Yr 7 Science
Year 7 students are settling into secondary school life, becoming more familiar with their specialist classes, including Science in our STEAM building. This week, they are diligently following scientific methods as they conduct experiments and engage in hands-on lab work.
Year 12 Retreat
Last week, our Year 12 students embarked on their final St Brigid’s College retreat, spending three days in Halls Gap. With a focus on hope, reflection, and reconnection, the retreat encouraged students to step out of their comfort zone, strengthen friendships, and set intentions for the year ahead.
Students walked away with stronger bonds, a deeper understanding of one another, and a renewed sense of purpose. One student shared, “The morning sunrise walk was beautiful, and the apologising activity really brought us closer.” Another reflected, “The free time was a highlight—we naturally chose to hang out, play games, and get to know each other.”
Looking ahead, the cohort hopes to stay connected, support one another, and embrace every moment of their final year. As one student put it: “I want to approach my final year as a group, not an individual.”
As always, this retreat has set the tone for their Year 12 journey, and we look forward to seeing their connections continue to grow as they navigate the challenges and triumphs ahead.
