Year 4 Excursion - Polly Woodside & Fitzroy Gardens

On Monday, our Year 4 students enjoyed a fantastic excursion to Polly Woodside and Fitzroy Gardens. With perfect weather, enthusiastic students, and amazing parent helpers, the day was a great success!

At Polly Woodside, students stepped into the past, experiencing life aboard a 19th-century sailing ship. They explored the ship’s decks, learned about the challenges of long sea voyages, and even took on roles as crew members, gaining a hands-on understanding of maritime history.

We also spent time at Fitzroy Gardens, making the most of the beautiful surroundings.

A huge thank you to our incredible parent helpers for their support, and to our Year 4 students for their curiosity, enthusiasm, and excellent behaviour.
