2024 School Council 

Dear Parents, 

With nominations for the 2025 school council closing last Friday, I am happy to announce that we received the same number of nominations as there are positions, which means we have a full school council moving forward and there is no need for an election. 

The following school councillors were returned to council for a two-year period:

• Christine Stojanoski (Parent category)

• Vince Scarfo (Parent category)

• Connie Scarfo (Parent category)

And we welcome the following councillor for their first time on council for a two year period also. 

• Joanne Wood (School employee)

In our March meeting, council will elect the office bearers of president, vice-president and treasurer. Also in March , members will decide which of our three sub-committees they would like to join be that Finance and Governance, Buildings and Grounds or Education and Community. 

Last week, council also endorsed the 2025 Annual Implementation Plan which will soon be up on our school website for our community to read. In addition, the 2024 Annual Report to the School Community was tabled and endorsed. This report will also soon be on our website once it has Department of Education approval.

Both reports show that our school is well on track in achieving our goals and doing an outstanding job for all of our students. A big thank you to the staff for their hard work in making this happen.
