A message from our Principal
It has been a pleasing to see our classrooms and school yard filled with excitement, energy, and eagerness as students continue to dive into the new year of learning.
A special thank you to all the families who have joined us for our recent assemblies. Your involvement means so much to us, and it has been wonderful to see the school community come together in celebration and support of our students. We look forward to seeing all our families in attendance as the year progresses.
I would also like to wish the best of luck to all the students participating in the upcoming District Swimming Competition on Tuesday. I am confident they will represent our school with great pride and respect. Good Luck!
As we move forward, I’d like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of consistent school attendance. Being present at school each and every day plays a crucial role in a student’s growth and development. If a student is not at school, they miss valuable learning opportunities. We ask that if your child is absent, you please ensure a reason is provided through the Compass app so we can keep accurate records and continue supporting their learning journey.
I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of our school’s uniform policy. It’s essential that all students wear the correct school uniform, including a broad-brimmed hat for sun protection. Our school uniform promotes a sense of pride and unity, and we appreciate your support in ensuring that all students are adhering to these expectations.
Finally, a reminder, our upcoming parent-teacher interviews are just around the corner. These meetings are a wonderful opportunity to discuss your child, ask questions, and work together to support their learning in 2025. I encourage all parents and guardians to attend, and we look forward to connecting with you.
Thank you for your ongoing support as we work together to make this school year a positive and successful one for all our students.
Regards,
Chris Johns
