Junior School

This week Junior school students have engaged with a number of different events and opportunities including school photos, Volleyball tryouts, a presentation from EHS Music Program staff and EHS lunch time Clubs Expo. Today, our we will have the girls and boys cricket teams represent EHS at the Diamond Valley sporting facilities.
Our recent Year 7 Transition Wellbeing Day was a fantastic success, filled with engaging activities designed to promote mindfulness, resilience, and positive physical and mental health. Students participated in a variety of workshops, including yoga, pilates, zumba, boxing, cycling and relentless all aimed at helping them develop essential skills for managing stress and maintaining balance.
ABCD went on Thursday and EFGH went on Friday and both groups quickly got into the groove of the activities and gave it their all. Feedback from students and staff was overwhelmingly positive, with many highlighting the fun and supportive atmosphere at the Eltham Leisure Centre. The day provided a valuable opportunity for students to connect with their peers, build confidence, and develop strategies for their overall wellbeing. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to making the event so impactful.
This Wednesday we invite our Year 7 families to attend out Meet the Teachers Afternoon. This is a fantastic way to get a feel for what your young person will be learning across the year. With Student Progress Interviews occurring in weeks 8 + 9 of this term this will be a great opportunity to put a face to a name and meet the amazing Year 7 teaching team. Please express your interest via the TryBooking event (link on Compass Newsfeed).
