School Athletics Carnival: Thursday 25th June, 2026

Athletics Carnival - Thursday 25th June
The Athletics Carnival is a compulsory school day, and all details can be found in the Compass Event. PLEASE CONSENT to this event on Compass ASAP.
LUNCH: Canteen items can be pre-ordered via Compass. Please complete your orders by 3.00pm Monday, 22nd June. Limited food items will be available for purchase on the day (cash or card) for spectators.
DISCUS: Discus will be held at the Athletics Carnival at 8.00am. Children wishing to participate in this event must know how to use a discus correctly; participation in Little Athletics is favourable. Please email setsport@arm.catholic.edu.au if your child is participating in discus.
1500m Event: If you would like to nominate your child for the 1500m event for the Diocesan Athletics Carnival, please email setsport@arm.catholic.edu.au with your child's time. Please understand that this is not an automatic qualification.
Time permitting, we will be holding the annual ‘Parent/Teacher 100m Dash’ towards the end of the day at the Athletics Carnival. Parents can self-nominate on the day! See you at the start line.
SPECTATORS WELCOME
No parents or spectators are allowed in the centre of the track, please.
Order of Events
First event to commence at approx 9.00am after the Welcome.
School Records
In Week 9, the Championship student names for Track and Field will be posted on Compass, as well as Relay teams.

The Armidale Diocesan Primary Sports Council is a body representative of the Catholic Education Office, Principals and Sports Coordinators from all Diocesan Primary Schools. The ADPSC offers a pathway for Armidale Diocesan students in most sports.
