Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons move into our third of six sessions this week - all students are enjoying the experience. 

A reminder that students will need to bring their swimmers, goggles and a towel. Students are welcome to come to school on Friday with their swimmers underneath their school uniform if they would prefer not to change in the bathrooms at school.

School Bytes

I kindly ask families to check that their School Bytes app is up to date. School Bytes is RPS’ main form of communication for events, reminders and notices.

Our School Bytes statistics currently show that very few notifications are being opened, which means important information may be missed. School News is the method we use to send out notifications, so please ensure notifications are switched on.

NSW Public Schools Student Survey

In Term 2, we are offering our students the opportunity to participate in the NSW Public Schools Student Survey. The survey gives students the chance to share their thoughts and feelings about life at school, including questions about their engagement, learning experiences and wellbeing at school.

Hearing directly from our students will help us understand what’s working well and where improvements can be made to our school. The survey is confidential, takes around 10 to 15 minutes to complete, and will be conducted online during school hours.

Participation is voluntary. If you prefer your child not to participate, please complete the opt-out consent form, which was sent via School Bytes on Monday, and return it to the school by Friday 15th May. Further information about the survey is available at https://education.nsw.gov.au/npss.

Due to our scheduled swimming lessons every Friday until the end of term, we will not be having a fortnightly assembly. Students' efforts and achievements will be recognised during our school morning assemblies. We look forward to resuming assemblies in Term 3.
