Principal's Message

Dear families,
Reconciliation Week
Over the past week, students have been discussing and reflecting on Reconciliation Week here at Rockley. They have studied our school’s Acknowledgement of Country and thoughtfully created their own personal acknowledgements.
As part of the NSW Department of Education’s Stronger Strides initiative, we also explored the significance of culture and how, in the past, different cultures often walked apart. Now, with greater knowledge and understanding, we have the opportunity to walk beside each other. This lesson resonated deeply with our students, inspiring meaningful reflection and connection.
Attendance: 5 Weekly Attendance Awards
Students who attend school with over 95% attendance are recognised at our assemblies in Weeks 5 and 10. This Week 5, we acknowledged outstanding attendance from Grace, Cooper, Malakai, and Savannah.
At the assembly, we spoke about the expectation of being at school each day, whenever students are well enough to attend.
Have a wonderful week.
Warm regards,
Principal
