Student Health Check and Influenza (Flu) Vaccination

We are pleased to partner with your school to offer a comprehensive Student Health Check and Influenza (Flu) Vaccination on-site at our school-based clinic.

As part of our commitment to keeping our students healthy and in the classroom this winter, we are offering these consultations to streamline preventative care. This program is more than just a flu shot; it is an opportunity for a clinical review to ensure your child’s health plans are up to date before the peak of the respiratory virus season.

MASHED Theatre “Bully” Production

Students in Years 7 and 8 at Greater Shepparton Secondary College recently participated in the powerful and engaging MASHED Theatre production Bully. The live performance explored the serious impact bullying can have on young people, while encouraging students to reflect on empathy, respectful relationships, resilience, and the importance of speaking up.

Through realistic scenarios, relatable characters, and interactive storytelling, the production highlighted the many forms bullying can take, including verbal, social, physical, and online behaviours. Students were encouraged to consider the effects bullying has not only on the person targeted, but also on friends, families, and the wider school community.

A strong message throughout the performance was the important role bystanders play in helping create a safe and supportive environment. Students were reminded that everyone has the ability to make positive choices, support others, and seek help when needed.

The production supported the College’s ongoing commitment to student wellbeing and promoting a culture of kindness, inclusion, and respect. Staff were impressed by the thoughtful engagement shown by students throughout the session and the meaningful discussions that followed.

Greater Shepparton Secondary College thanks MASHED Theatre for delivering such an important and impactful performance for our students.
