New Books!
We hit a home run at the Book Fair, and the payoff is huge: a massive haul of shiny, new books is now stocked and waiting! Students are welcome to borrow books Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays - there's no need to wait for their library lesson. The page-turning can start NOW!
World Book Online
Did you know that St Xavier’s subscribes to World Book Online?
World Book Online is a great place for students to explore the world around us in a safe and secure online environment. St Xavier’s students are exposed to World Book Online during their library lessons and are then encouraged to use World Book within the classroom as their first point of reference when conducting research.
World Book Online has thousands of information articles as well as eBooks and lots of interesting and educational games and puzzles.
All St Xavier’s families are welcome to log in to World Book Online and have a look around - just ask your children to help you if you are unsure! Simply follow the link and use the login ID and password listed below.

Library Borrowing Term 4
At the end of each year, the Library conducts a stocktake. We have over 7,000 books in our library so this usually takes some time! From Week 8 of this term we will start collecting books to begin our stocktake process. It would be great if library books could be returned to school by Week 8. If you know a book is lost, please contact the school ASAP.
