Dear Kindergarten Koala Students and Families,

What a fabulous year we have had together! We are so proud of each and every one of our team. You have grown in so many ways—learning to read and write, making new friends, trying new things, and showing kindness every single day. Watching you in our precious learning time, in the playground and shining each day has been some of the best parts of our year.

To our families, thank you for your support, your encouragement, and your partnership. Your involvement has made our classroom a joyful and successful place to learn. We are grateful for all the ways you helped make this year special—from reading with your children to joining us for activities and cheering them on every step of the way.

As we finish this wonderful year, we hope you take time to celebrate all the hard work, laughter, and accomplishments. We know our students are ready for great adventures ahead!

Pool Initiative

I am pleased to inform you about an exciting new initiative aimed at encouraging our students to engage in swimming activities beyond the School Swimming Schemes. In collaboration with James Harwood, local council, and Swimming Australia, a loyalty card program has been developed to incentivise repeated use of local pools.

The program involves a loyalty card that allows students to receive a stamp each time they visit the pool. Students who swim 10 times will be eligible for a reward, potentially access to a special pool day planned for March next year. Additionally, the Armidale Regional Council has partnered in this initiative, offering discounted pool entry for children who present the loyalty card. Every student will receive a card this week.
