Student Engagement

Celebrating a Year of Student Voice and Wellbeing
As we conclude the year, we want to take a moment to reflect on the rich and meaningful experiences our students have engaged in across Student Engagement and Wellbeing. This year, student voice continued to guide much of our work, from the development of our Play Bays to the wide range of lunchtime club rooms that students helped shape and lead. Our sensory space was open each recess and lunch, offering a safe, calm environment for students who needed support or a place to reset.
We also celebrated our first year of GEM Leaders, who embraced their roles with enthusiasm and helped bring energy and joy to whole-school events like GEM Day. Their leadership has strengthened our culture of Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness, and we are incredibly proud of the impact they have made.
Throughout the year, students participated in initiatives such as Walk to School, Biketober, and The Resilience Project workshops, Bully Zero and Kids Helpline Incursions, all of which helped build community connection, resilience and healthy routines. TRP practices also became embedded within our learning spaces, supporting students to understand and express their feelings with confidence.
We want to sincerely thank all families for your ongoing support, encouragement, and partnership. Your involvement has helped create a strong, connected school community where students feel valued, supported, and empowered.
We are incredibly proud of our students and all they have achieved this year. Wishing every family a safe, restful, and joy-filled holiday break.
Warm regards,
Bianka, Vicky and Vira
