God, you give us peace.

As we light this candle in your name,

we ask you to help us share peace with family

 and friends this Advent.

Amen

The season of Advent

On Sunday we celebrated the beginning of the second week of Advent, which is when we light the candle of Peace. Advent has a focus on light, not darkness.  Christ will come again as the light of the world. During Advent we are given the opportunity to reflect on the importance of the birth of Jesus within our lives. It is a time when we prepare and get ready to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

St Vinnies Christmas appeal

As we approach the joyous season of Christmas, we are reminded of the spirit of giving, compassion, and reaching out to those who need it most. Christmas is a time when we reflect on the blessings in our own lives and consider how we can make a difference in the lives of others.

Each year, our school proudly supports the St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal. This appeal plays a vital role in providing essential items, food hampers and meaningful gifts to individuals and families who are experiencing hardship during the festive season. For many, these acts of kindness bring hope, dignity and a sense of comfort at a time that can otherwise feel overwhelming.

As a Catholic faith community, we invite you to join us in living out the Gospel message of love and service. Your generosity - whether large or small - can help brighten Christmas for families in our local area. This year, we are kindly asking for monetary donations from our families, enabling St Vincent de Paul to provide what is most needed for those they support. A donation box will be available at our Carols Night on Thursday, the 11th of December.

Donations can also be made at the school office at any time leading up to the event. Thank you for your continued kindness and for helping us bring the true spirit of Christmas to those in needYour support makes a real and lasting difference.

Year 6 Graduation

Thank you to all the families who attended the Year 6 Graduation Mass last Friday evening. It was truly a beautiful and reflective celebration, made even more special by your presence and support. Congratulations to all our graduating students. We are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved this year. As you prepare to begin your next journey into secondary school, we wish you every success and hope you carry forward the values, friendships and memories you have made. May this next chapter be filled with growth, joy and exciting new opportunities.

End of Year Mass

Friday, 12th of December at 9.15am we are celebrating our whole school mass. We warmly invite all parents, carers and grandparents to join us for this special celebration of faith and community. As we gather together, we will take the time to reflect on the many blessings, achievements and moments of growth we have shared throughout the year. It is a wonderful opportunity to come together in gratitude, to pray as a community, and to farewell 2025 with hope and joy. We look forward to celebrating this meaningful occasion with you.
