"This term, our Stage 3 students have been exploring the enchanting world of Shadow Puppetry in language classes. Throughout this engaging unit, they have learned about the origins, history and cultural significance of this traditional art form, discovering how it has evolved over time and the moral lessons woven into its stories.

Students have also taken on the exciting challenge of creating their own light and shadow puppet shows based on folktales and fables in the target langauge. From designing characters to experimenting with light, shadow and movement, they have been developing both creative and storytelling skills. Using digital technology, students record their performances and finetune their puppet shows in a modern and immersive way. We are proud of their creativity, collaboration and enthusiasm—and we can’t wait to see their magical performances!"
