Year 1/2
Reading – Christmas is just around the corner, and we have loved getting into the spirit with a range of Christmas books.
Skill Zone – As the summer weather sets in, the students have been practising their batting and fielding skills through games of 2 Cone Cricket.
Swimming – Students have commenced their water familiarisation program, learning essential skills whilst learning to swim. The sessions have been filled with plenty of fun and laughter.
Year 3/4
Students have been working hard to persuade readers of their chosen real world issue. They have shared their writing with each other and had some very impressive persuasive pieces.
Learning new strategies to work out large multiplication sums, today is lattice method.
Students have been revisiting key maths concepts through multiple exposures to strengthen their understanding. They applied their knowledge by drawing their names in block letters and calculating the area and perimeter of each letter.
