Animals have a special way of bringing people together, and Home Economics teacher Vikki's five tiny Laced Wyandotte chicks were no exception. Vikki brought the adorable chicks to meet our IEC students, giving each student a chance to gently hold them. The calm and connection shared in that moment was truly heart warming. The chicks relaxed in their hands and smiles spread all around. It was a small moment that created big memories, reminding us of the simple joys that make school life so special.

In week two our IEC students took part in an unforgettable Taiko Japanese Drumming session. The energetic, full-body experience had everyone moving to the rhythm and in sync with the beat. This exciting workshop was part of the Welcome Journeys program by Communicare, proudly funded by Telethon, giving our students a vibrant cultural experience to remember.
