Maddison Kitching

Ciao, Brunswick South Primary! My name is Maddison Kitching, I’m passionate about teaching and learning and am excited to be joining the team and teaching in 2026. I have a background in the arts as a painter, mural painter and illustrator, and look forward to bringing my interest in art into all the subjects that I teach. Looking forward to meeting the school community soon!

Blake Catt

I’ve been teaching for two and a half years, primarily in lower primary, and am thrilled to be joining the Brunswick South Primary School community. I’m passionate about creating engaging and inclusive classrooms where every student feels valued, confident, and supported to achieve their best. I have a particular interest in the performing arts and enjoy using creativity to inspire learning. I’m looking forward to contributing to whole-school events and helping foster a positive, connected school culture. Outside of teaching, I enjoy tap dancing and spending quality time with my cheeky Jack Russell, Sheldon.

Nadia Coles

Ciao a tutti! My name is Nadia and I am a first generation Italian-Australian. My parents are from the Lazio region, in a town just south of Rome. Next year will be my 7th year teaching and I am very excited to be joining the school community at Brunswick South! When I'm not at school, I love to read, spend time with my nieces and nephews, catch up with friends and cuddle up with my favourite furry friend: my cat, Lizzie. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and can't wait to learn and grow together in 2026!

Sophie Cavagnola

Ciao BSPS community!

My name is Sophie. I am Italian, I was born and raised in Genoa, in the north of Italy. 

I graduated as a teacher in my city and I have work experiences from different parts of the world: Italy, Spain, Denmark and Australia.

My first experience in this country has been right here at BSPS as an Italian language assistant. My hobbies are: sports, traveling and baking goods. Fun facts and curiosities: I know a bit of Spanish and I was a swimmer at high level competitions.
