Semester Highlights and Next Steps

We are proud to celebrate the dedication and achievements of our Duke of Edinburgh Award participants for this semester.

 

Congratulations to the following students who have demonstrated initiative, commitment, and perseverance through their Bronze, Silver, and Gold award journeys:

 

Pittwater House Awardees – Semester 2, 2025

Bronze Award: Holly and Isabella (C9); Ciara, Olivia and Olivia (C10); Benjamin (G10) and Jack (G12)

Silver Award: Finlay (G10); Kate (C10); Talia and Viktoriya (C12)

Gold Award: Elena (C12)

 

The Year 9 Duke of Ed participants completed their adventurous journey last week as part of the Year 9 camp.

 

Through service, skill-building, physical activity, and adventure, they have embodied the spirit of the Duke of Ed Award and grown into resilient, capable young adults. Well done to all.

A reminder to all current Duke of Ed participants:

There is still time to qualify as a 2025 awardee. Please ensure your Online Record Book (ORB) is fully updated with your hours and your adventurous Journey reports are submitted.

Interested in Joining?

New participants (Years 8 and above) are welcome to join the Duke of Ed program at any time!

 

To get started with your Award:

  1. Visit the Online Record Book and create a participant account: www.onlinerecordbook.org/fo/register/participant/welcome
  2. Set up your goals and choosing suitable assessors.
  3. Attend the weekly support sessions on Friday lunchtime in Room SG5. bring your lunch and your laptop!
