🎹 Junior Piano Showcase Concert

Recently we were delighted to present our Junior Piano Showcase Concert in the Performing Arts Centre. Twenty-five talented students took to the stage, performing a wonderful variety of music — from Bach to Mozart, John Williams to Coldplay.

This concert marked the culmination of their piano studies for 2025, under the guidance of our dedicated tutors Mrs Jill King and Mr Matt Thomson.

Performing to a full house, our young musicians impressed and inspired their audience of students, parents, and staff.

Inaugural Vocal Festival

On Tuesday evening, the Great Hall came alive with the sound of voices—lots of voices. Our inaugural Pittwater House School Vocal Festival was a celebration of the incredible vocal talent we have across the school.

The night featured performances by the Junior School Choir, Senior School Choir, and our advanced Allegro Vocal Ensemble, alongside 23 solo vocal performances. Students from Year 4 through to Year 12 took to the stage, showcasing a remarkable depth of skill and artistry. All soloists were selected through an audition process and were expertly prepared and accompanied by our dedicated vocal tutors.

The festival was co-ordinated by our very own vocal maestro, Miss Erin Finlay, with support from our talented tutors Mel Pells, Annelise Hall, and Alexander Gaal. The program included a diverse mix of music—from Alicia Keys to Billy Joel and beyond.

The evening culminated in a mass vocal performance of the Bill Withers classic Lean on Me, complete with joyful audience participation that created a memorable and uplifting finale.
