Keeping Our Students Safe Into the Future: Standard 10 in Action
NSW Child Safe Standard 10: Policies and procedures document how the organisation is child safe and highlight the importance of having clear, documented child safe policies and procedures. These resources give staff, volunteers, parents/carers and students the confidence and clarity they need to prevent and respond to child safety concerns. By working together and understanding our shared responsibilities, we create a safe and supportive environment for every student who attends our school.
We encourage families to take a moment to review our child safe policies, available on the school website, to stay informed and engaged in this important commitment.
Standard 10: Policies and procedures document how the organisation is child safe.
Some of the ways we meet this standard are:
- Policies and procedures address all Child Safe Standards
- Child policies, Codes of Conduct, and complaint handling procedures are publicly accessible on our website
- Moama Anglican Grammar staff follow Child Safe policies and procedures
- Documents are saved in accordance with NSW record-keeping requirements
- Policies and procedures are available in child-friendly and accessible formats
- A register of staff completion of child safe training is kept to ensure no staff member misses out on this important training
- Documented child safe activities in the school diary
Risk Management plans are designed with child safety as a priority and list how risk is mitigated for incursions, excursions and camps

Although this concludes our 2025 newsletter articles outlining how we keep our students safe, it is not the conclusion of our continued actions and review of child safety at Moama Anglican Grammar. This will continue into 2026 and beyond. As always, if you have any questions regarding child safety at our school, please reach out to myself or a member of our Executive Team.
Wishing our wonderful school community a safe, joyful, and relaxing Christmas break!
