Main Campus - Year 4
What an extremely busy couple of weeks it has been for Year 4 students! We've had some special visitors, the sheep have had a haircut, we had our final activities sessions, and we had a fabulous time at our end of year concert! What an amazing show it was, what a talented grade we have!!!
Last week students took part in the Pillowcase Project, run by the Red Cross of Australia. It was a fantastic session and the children all enjoyed creating a design on their own pillowcases using fabric markers. It was a thought- provoking experience and allowed the students to consider what things they might need to take in the event of an emergency evacuation. It was especially pleasing to see students so engaged.

We have also been busy completing and presenting our Water Cycle Dioramas as part of our Inquiry learning. The students have done a fantastic job and loved showcasing their fabulous creations to the rest of the class. Here are a few samples of the amazing creations:

When this newsletter is published, we will be in the middle of camp at CYC Phillip Island, having a brilliant time looking at the little penguin’s colony, watching the short, tailed shearwaters come back to roost, as well as lots of other exciting activities. We simply cannot wait to share all about our wonderful adventures!!!
