Principal's Report

Dear families,

It is hard to believe that we only have 4 weeks of school left. Term 4 has certainly flown by. From all reports the Grade 5 & 6 students are having a great time on camp. They are off to Questacon today and War Memorial tomorrow morning. We expect them home around about 5pm. Families will receive a Xuno message with an updated time as the bus gets closer to home.

CONCERT

Concert practice has been in full swing. A reminder that concert bags are due back next Monday.

Concert details:

Students are required to be at the venue by 6.15pm.
Gates will open at 5.45pm.
Supervision will commence at 6.15pm. Prior to this, students are the responsibility of parents.
Students are to come dressed in their costumes.
Students are to sit in their designated area, not with parents.
Students will need to bring a drink bottle with them.
Please ensure your child has had a meal prior to the concert as they won't have a chance to eat until the concert is finished.
The concert will commence at 6.30pm.
There will be some chairs available for the audience however you may like to bring a fold up chair or picnic blanket to sit on.
Snacks and drinks will be available from the outside bar prior to the concert and during the interval.
No outside drinks, except students water bottles, are to be brought to the venue.
Tickets for the night can be purchased via Qkr! and collected from the office.
Parents and Friends Committee will be running a Nifty Fifty.

SCHOOL UNIFORM

Lately we have noticed many children are coming to school not in their correct school uniform. Please assist us by ensuring students arrive at school in full uniform. Some key points:

Navy blue shorts, skirts/skorts or track suit pants.
White, navy or black socks
Correct school jumper or jacket
Broad brimmed school hat.

AUSKICK

Students had the opportunity to participate in an Auskick session yesterday at lunch. Kevin from AFL will be running and AFL Auskick Clinic on Monday at Toolmaba oval. He only has 27 positions available. Please see below for more details.
