School Captains' Report

Wominjeka everyone, and welcome to our third newsletter for Term Four! We hope everyone has had a great two weeks. Here are a few highlights from the past two weeks:
These past two weeks the Year Sixes have been working on their yearbook, which is where all the Year Sixes put information about themselves and at the end of the year it will be given to them as an honour for finishing primary school.
Speaking of the yearbook, we had Schoolpix come over to our school to take some photos for the yearbook! The Year Sixes had their cohort photo, their sports teams and leadership photos taken as well. We’re thrilled to see our pictures and see how we have all grown these past few years.
Movie Night tickets are now on sale! The date is on the 28th of November and we are all excited to have a great time and see our new activity, the Dunk Tank! Don’t forget to purchase your tickets as we can’t wait to see you all there!
On Monday and Tuesday we had our Senior and Junior Hoop Time. They all did amazing participation going against other schools and teams in REGIONALS basketball. We all hope everyone had an amazing time and tried their best. Don’t forget to give yourselves a pat on the back!
On Tuesday we had Remembrance Day. It is a day where we commemorate our respects to the soldiers who fought during the war. At 11:00am, during the one minute of silence, we acknowledge and think of those who passed away or got injured during the war. It is where we respect them for their commitment because without them, we would never have the freedom we have today. Lest we forget.
Next Monday we have our Regional Cricket Finals. We wish everyone the best of luck as we’re all rooting for you!
We hope everyone has an amazing weekend and we can’t wait to see you all on Monday.
Your School Captains,
Engy, Sam and Astin
