Sports Day
On Friday, 17th September, the ELC and Foundation to Year 2 students attended Sports Day at the Western Youth Oval. Students arrived dressed in coloured t-shirts and accessories to proudly represent their Houses: Emerald, Ruby and Topaz.
The South Plympton students travelled enthusiastically by bus, ready to kick off the day with the opening and a high-energy health hustle to the worship song "Praise."
The Foundation students thoroughly enjoyed all the activities on offer, including the exciting sprint race. Some of the fun rotation activities included mini tramp, hurdles, cricket strike, AFL kick, and more!
We were blessed with beautiful weather and a fantastic turnout of supportive parents and staf. A big thank you to Mrs Collins, Mr Heath, the staff and all the Sports Leaders who helped run the stations and made the day successful.
Here is what some of our Foundation students had to say:
It was fun being in the running race and I came third place. - Sias
The best thing I liked was the mini trampoline because it was fun jumping. - Matthew
The running race was the best. I ran so fast that I came first. It was a great day. - Eva
I liked doing the hurdles because I had to hop around so many times. - Willow
My favourite part was doing the giant race at the end. It was actually fun! - Luke
I liked doing the running race because it made me feel strong. - Jiyansi

Year 2 Sleepover
Last Friday, our Year 2 students enjoyed a special evening with their teachers during their much-anticipated school sleepover!
The night began with a delicious dinner on the oval, followed by exciting activities, including learning how to build tents and other fun team challenges. Students were thrilled with their cozy sleepover setup in the EPAC room — it was a night full of laughter, friendship, and unforgettable memories!
Well done to all our Year 2 students, especially the ones who had their first sleepover experience ever!
OSHC Highlights
This fortnight, our OSHC children had the exciting opportunity to make some slimy, sticky goop!
We had a blast getting messy, exploring textures, and expressing creativity through this hands-on sensory activity. Previous attempts proved that finding the right ratio between glue and activator can be challenging. However, Joanne perfected this, and she, alongside the mentors, was able to guide others throughout this activity!
