Sports Day Reflection
At the end of Week 1, the Foundation students at Brooklyn Park enjoyed getting together with the rest of the F-2 students from both campuses for Sports Day. With great excitement, the classes walked to the Western Youth Oval and were greeted by families and friends who came to support them. It was a wonderful day of learning, sporting endeavour and fun!
The students showcased their health hustle and sporting skills, which they developed in their PE lessons last term. There have been many classroom discussions about “trying your best,” “being a gracious winner,” “encouraging your friends,” “ paying attention and listening carefully to instructions,” and the really important message of “staying between the white lines on the running track.”
The following are some Sports Day reflections from Foundation Giles and Foundation Sweet.

Year 6 and Year 9 Connection Day
Last week our Year 6 students enjoyed making new connections with Secondary School at Connection Day, held simultaneously across both campuses.
Year 6 and Year 9 students spent the afternoon having fun together through games and ice-breaker activities. There was shared laughs, teamwork, and a delicious BBQ lunch.
The day was a blessing not only for our Year 6s but also for the Year 9 students, who were encouraged and inspired through the opportunity to lead and support the younger cohort.
A huge thank you to all students and staff for creating this meaningful and memorable stepping stone into secondary school life!
