Down on the Farm

The past week has been very wet down on the farm! Thankfully, we were able to get in there on Wednesday at lunchtime, and it was wonderful to see so many children exploring, playing, and enjoying the space together. Their enthusiasm and curiosity always remind us how special our farm program is.

Although it might seem a little early, we’d like to start thinking ahead to the Christmas and New Year holiday period. During this time, we need help to keep the farm running smoothly — watering, feeding the animals, and generally keeping everything in good shape while the school is on break.

If your family might be available to lend a hand, please keep it in mind. We’ll be sending out more details and a volunteer roster closer to the end of term, but early expressions of interest are always appreciated. It’s a great opportunity for families to spend some time outdoors together and to support this special part of our school community.

Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support and enthusiasm for our farm. The children (and the animals!) truly benefit from your involvement.
