Performing Arts

The Swamp ROCKED!

Thank you students, families, staff and supporters for all your enthusiasm, energy, sacrifice, rearranging of schedules, creativity and commitment. Special memories were definitely made! 

I have many highlights but here are a few:

• Seeing students who would normally ALWAYS choose to be on the oval at lunchtimes, committing to their role on stage or in tech crew and realising they also have a musical theatre part to themselves.
• Having students discover new talents and build confidence in their capabilities. 
• Students' courage to 'become' a character and growth in responsibilities (incl set changes, remembering lines, stage movements etc).
• Having cast/crew show other children what acting, singing and musicals can be like. You are such a positive influence on others and brought such joy!
• The incredible talent, commitment and generosity of our parent/grandparent/friends community (special mention Gavin, Cam, Caz, Erica, Jacqui, Jho, Lilli, Rob, Dan.) It's been a humbling experience and I'm full of gratitude for you.
