Reconciliation Week - Special Edition Page

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. The 2024 theme is “Now, More than Ever”. Each class participated in some learning during Week 6, from the 27th of May to 3rd of June. Here are some examples of what different students and classes around the school did during the week.

Last week everyone in Room 4 did an artwork of Uluru because it was Reconciliation Week. Week used Aboriginal symbols to decorate Uluru. I used two spears, rain, emu and kangaroo tracks, a shield, boomerang.  I dot painted an Aboriginal Flag, random dots and a tree.
