Time to Celebrate!

Barwon Water Grant!

We are excited to share that NPS has been awarded a grant from Barwon Water for our commitment to improving the local environment and making a positive change in our school community.

Funds from this grant will go towards hosting a whole of school incursion with the Earth Crusaders program on the 28th and 29th of August. Students will get the opportunity to participate in a variety of workshops with a focus on how to best reduce, reuse, recycle, and rethink. 

We look forward to hosting Earth Crusaders and learning more about sustainability in Term 3! We thank Mrs Jones (Ibu Jones) for applying for and organising this opportunity.

Open Classrooms 'Maths Morning' - Thurs 27th June

What a wonderful morning we had yesterday, with a fantastic turn out of parents and carers. Thank you for celebrating and sharing in our student's maths learning! 

Student Diversity Disco - Thurs 20th June

So much energy, so much fun, and so many song requests! 

Once again, DJ McKinnis came up with the goods (and a brand new DJ Deck!), providing the music and vibes all night. A special thanks to our parent helpers and staff that assisted on the night - Ali Giuricin, Laura Young, Mr Barclay and Mrs Washington. Thank you for giving your time and making this event possible!

Appreciation

We wish to extend a wholehearted thank you to Jacinta's Flower Studio, located at 91 Ormond Road, East Geelong. 

Jacinta gifted a number of beautifully presented flower arrangements to our school staff last week. It was a wonderfully kind guesture that brightened the day of many of our team! 

Chess Fever!

Our new artificial turf area and game board has been a big hit with our students since it was installed. Our giant chess and checkers pieces arrived and have now been introduced into the space. 

It has been wonderful to see students interacting with eachother, taking turns and teaching one another the games of chess and checkers... and sometimes it's also fun to just move the pieces around the board too!
